The Winners:
The first prize of the Nationwide Essay Challenge on "Role & Responsibility of the Youth in Building up Modern India" goes to V.V. Surya Deepika from Vishakhapathnam, A.P.
The second prize is jointly awarded to Anchal Nayyar and Sunita Devi from Amritsar, Punjab and Jabalpur, M.P. respectively while the third prize goes to Sangharsh Pandey from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
We heartily congratulate all the winners for putting up their original innovative thoughts by participating in this Nationwide Essay Challenge.

The awards will be given by Former President, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam to the winners during a two day Youth Convention on Thursday, 15 January 2009. Also all the participants would be receiving their participation certificate by post.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
We take this opportunity to congratulate you for your participation in the Nationwide Essay Challenge. Your Contribution has immensely added substance and colour to our Silver Jubilee Celebrations.
The Purpose of the Essay Challenge was to acquaint the younger generation to the inspiring universal message given by Swami Vivekananda. But we were surprised to see that a large number of essays were of high quality and many with original thinking. We are sure you have derived the greatest inspiration from the life giving words of Swamiji. Now it is time to shape our lives on these lines for our own salvation and for the good of our brethren. This in itself is the foremost service to the Nation.
We sincerely believe that you will put Swamiji’s thoughts into action and be the torch bearers in this endeavour to see our beloved Mother in the highest throne, once again.
