Ramakrishna Math Polyclinic and Diagnostic Centre
Ramakrishna Math, Pune is a spiritual as well as a social service institution. Extending selfless service to the poor and needy people is one of our prime objectives. With this spirit of service, Ramakrishna Math, Pune had started a Medical Unit right at the year of its inception i.e., in 1984, with a small Homoeopathic wing. Since1994, it has developed itself into a full fledged diagnostic centre having in addition to its homoeopathic wing, various allopathic departments. The medical unit is having up-to-date machinery, apparatus and appliances operated by trained staff. It is attended and supervised by renowned experts, specialists and medical professionals in the city.

The Math charges a nominal fee, for medical examination and treatment. The needy patient are treated free of cost. Every year Medical Camps are organised by the polyclinic. Every patient visiting the polyclinic is treated equally, without any discrimination of caste, creed or religion.
Salient features of the polyclinic are detailed below:
Investigation facilities: X-Ray | Pathology | Sonography | ECG | 2D-Echo | Colour Doppler | Pulmonary Function Test
Outdoor patient department - On an average 150-175 new patients are treated everyday, in addition to about 500 patients on an average.
Senior Citizen Medical Check Up Package - We have a special check up package for Senior Citizens, which specially formed for old persons above 60 years. Fifteen Tests are carried out in Rs. 400/- only viz. X-Ray, ECG, Blood Sugar, Cholesterol etc. etc.
Medical Services - Some charitable Institutions in need of medical help take advantage of this diagnostic centre on special Concession Package.
Fees: Patient can meet a Specialist for consultation any no. of times by paying nominal Fee of Rs. 20/-, which is valid for two months. In order to make Pathological & Diagnostic Investigations, affordable to a common man, these charges are only 50% to 75% of those current market rates. For Homoeopathy, we charge Rs. 20/- only for two months treatment with Free Medicine.
Medical Camps: From time to time, the Math is conducting asthma camps, Diabetes detection camps, Cancer detection camps, Blood Donation camps, Neurology camps, Bone mineral density camps, etc.
Physical check-up for children - School check-up of children is being conducted effectively in various institutions.
Facilities arranged with Deenanath Mangeshkar and Sanjeevan Hospital at concession rates: CT Scan, MRI, Stress Test, Mammography.
Other facilities available to the poor and lower middle class patients are: Eye operation at Sanjeevan Hospital, Surgical operative facilities at both the above mentioned hospitals, super specialists reference, Eye Laser Treatment at Deenanath Mangeshkar hospital for retinal diseases

Skin, Dermatosurgery and Cosmetology unit ( Vitiligo treatment, Acne (Pimples) and Acne (Pimple) scar treatment, Dermabrasion Excision and Subcision for scars, Mole Excision, Wrinkles treatment, Pigmentation Disorder, Chemical peel, Hyperhidrosis (Excessive perspiration) treatment, Keloid and Hyperbotnic scar surgery)
Physiotherapy Dept( Inferential Machine, ultrasound Machine, Occupational Therapy Equipment. This department has started Prenatal and Postnatal exercises and occupational therapy for CPA and mentally handicapped children and paralytic patients. Now we have added: Alternate exercise therapy for fitness. Pregnancy Prenatal and Postnatal exercises. Children sport injuries viz. Tennis elbow, knee sprains/ strain)
